  • Succesful research seminar in Copenhagen on how HIV prevention and ARV treatmentcan reach men and women in Vietnam.

    On December 3 2008, at the University of Copenhagen the REACH project hosted a seminar with participants from Vietnam, Sweden, Tanzania and Denmark. Both researchers and NGOs were reprsented and used this opportunity to exchange experiences on HIV, reproductive health and cervical cancer. Read the report .

    Another partner of the REACH project, Nguyen My Huong, sucessfully defended her PhD thesis "Breaking the Silence: Understanding reproductive Trct Infections among Abortion Seeking Women in Vietnam" at the University of Copenhagen on November 14, 2008. In the presence of her supervisers, Vibeke Rasch and Tine Gammeltoft, aswell as a room full of friends and colleagues, Nguyen My Huong, defended her thesis and answered questions by Professors Ib Bygbjerg, Annika Johansson and Johanne Sundby. A copy of the thesis can be obtained from the REACH secretariat.
